Rehabilitation Hospital is looking for a Full Time Physician/Hospitalist/Nocturnist to work in Newark,NJ.
-Rehabilitation facility.
-No Emergency Room or ICU.
-No procedures.
-See 5 to 6 patients on average for the entire shift.  On average, you would probably see 1 patient per hour if even that.  Some hours you might not see any patients at all.
-The patients that you see would be admissions from other hospitals.  It would only be Acute issues, such as high blood pressure, insomnia, etc.  There are rarely any new admission after 10pm.
-Throughout the night you would be responsible for dealing with any issues that may occur, as you would be the only Physician available.
-Very low stress level!

7off Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 12 Hour Shift: 7pm

7am (overnight)
Friday: OFF
Saturday: 24 Hour Shift: 7am on Saturday

7am on Sunday (overnight),your shift will end at 7am on Sunday.
Sunday: You will be rounding on 25 patients during day time hours.  You can start rounding after you end your shift at 7am or go home and come back later.  We are flexible, as long as the rounding in done during day time hours.
Then you will be off for 7 days/nights in a row.
**We are open to job-sharing this position (hiring more than 1 person that can split up the days/shifts), so if you can only work a few of the days/shifts, we will consider you**
$180k - $190k + Full Benefit Package + Profit sharing.
We also have a call room with a bed, tv, and kitchen that you will have use of.  The call room can be used for sleeping and resting.  There is a good amount of down time where you will be allowed to retreat to the call room if interested.
-Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Physician or Internist/Internal Medicine Physician.
-New Jersey Medical License in good standing with no restrictions.
